Continuing on in The Modern Muslim Guide to Dating series my latest piece talks about the challenges and considerations around meeting the parents. Fusing together your personal life and your family life can be such a complex and delicate process. I tired to talk about what helped me during my dating years and, ultimately, when I brought my husband home.
Funnily enough, although we got together 5 years ago, my husband and I dated briefly when we were 14 and he was actually my first kiss (I know, I know). If you want to read about that embarrassing experience go here.
